Additional information
he family of Ursula Oginski Davis are devastated to announce their beloved and beautiful sister passed away softly and peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025.
She is survived by her twin sister, Irene Oginski Egan (Michael R.), brothers Richard Oginski, Eugene Bruczkowski and a sister in Germany, Jeannie Patzelt (Kurt). Preceded in death by her Dad, Chester Oginski and Mom, Barbara Oginski.
Ursula always wanted us to remember that Irene was an incredible sister and woman, who was able to see the smiles on bee’s faces, that Ursula was extremely blessed to have Richard as a brother, and that she thought Eugene was the smartest man she knew.
She was a loving aunt to dearest Erica Bekas (Patrick) and dearest Jason. Ursula spent countless hours of fun with great-niece Abigail and great-nephew, (little Elon) Isaiah. She will keep a watchful eye over them as they grow up. Even though they live in Germany, she was a loving aunt to Tommy (Ute) and Stephanie, and a loving great aunt to their children, Tom, Elisa and Leo. There are many relatives in Poland and Germany who mourn her. And not forgotten, her devoted and precious cat, Ami.
After college, Ursula started in the fashion industry and ultimately became a clothing buyer for an upscale boutique. She moved into Banking, insurance and finally found her niche in the technology field. She had an inquisitive mind which lent itself to great success in the technology and IT world.
Ursula traveled extensively and found true happiness on Sanibel Island, Florida and in Paris, France, where she continually perfected the French language.
Ursula donated generously to the forgotten souls at animal rescue organizations.
Many thanks to Ursula’s doctor who fought the battle with her and many thanks to the incredible nursing staff at Lutheran General. We are forever grateful to Dr. Tim Lestingi, Josie, Sonia, Pia, Connie, Ray-Ban man, Ashley, Sharon, Laurie and countless others. Ursula won some battles but sadly lost the war to cancer.
